Mission and Vision

The mission of the PPCDC is to serve as an advocate and a vehicle to protect, rebuild, and serve the Pontchartrain Park community.  Community residents must have a voice in the rebuilding of their neighborhoods.

The vision of the PPCDC is to improve and maintain the quality of life in the community by serving as a catalyst and vehicle for the addition of new homes, amenities, social services, senior services, and commercial development.  Without vehicles to give voice to the vision of the residents, development can occur in such a way as to adversely change the character of the community.
