What We Do
The Pontchartrain Park Community Development Corporation (PPCDC) serves as the planning, business and financial interface between development and planning organizations and the residents of Pontchartrain Park. PPCDC engages in the following activities and services for the community:
- Provides information on proposed development plan by government and private developers to the Pontchartrain Park Neighborhood Association and residents of Pontchartrain Park.
- Participates in all development planning for Pontchartrain Park.
PPCDC has engaged SRP Development, Inc. to serve as the Development Manager (DM) for our CDC. The following additional activities are coordinated and executed by SRP Development in concert with PPCDC:
- Develops and implements housing and commercial projects in collaboration with government and private sector development organizations.
- Designs, creates and promotes social services, senior services, and community amenities for the community.
- Builds community capital through the investment of earned developer fees in a community endowment or community asset fund.
